Statement of Purpose

The Fabens High School Band Program will allow students to seek opportunities to better themselves through cooperation, teamwork, discipline, respect and responsibility to achieve excellence to bring out their full potential. Students will also create lifelong friendships and will share the love of music while having fun. We will represent the community and school by Wildcat Pride!

Marching Band (Fall Semester)

Provides entertainment for all football games and related activities, (parades, pep rallies, etc.). The band will compete in Marching Band Contests (El Paso UIL, etc.) and perform a Christmas Concert. Membership in the marching band requires physical and mental dedication and maximum effort and involvement in all aspects of playing, marching, and performance.

Concert Band (Spring Semester)

The Fabens High School Band provides entertainment in the spring for all school activities. In addition, we will be performing occasionally for special requests. Rehearsals and sectionals will be scheduled as needed. The band will compete at the YISD Pre-UIL and UIL Concert/Sight-reading Band Contests. The band will also perform a Spring Concert and for the graduation ceremony.
