2023 – Thank you to all that have contributed in any way to the new Harvard History Book – 1973 to 2023. (Also includes some things prior to 1973 that weren't in the original 1973 history book, 100 + 2, Harvard, Nebraska.)
2019 – In loving memory, with deep gratitude and affection – Ruth (Koehler) Nelson, Class of 1946 – born April 29, 1929, and left her earthly life on March 26, 2019. Ruth kept track of the alumni deaths after Frances Brenneman was no longer able to do it. We have appreciated all of her help and valuable knowledge shared with our alumni historical committee. Rest in peace, dear friend and fellow committee member. – Harvard Alumni Association and HHS Alumni Historical Committee
December 2017 – A huge thank you to the Harvard Community Foundation for paying for our large fireproof safe to keep all of our alumni records and historical items in. We now have two safes. They are located in the Harvard Museum.
A huge "THANK YOU" to our Grandson, Simeon Berns, for making this website happen. Simeon is the son of Audrey (Adam) – Class of 1984 and Keith Berns.
Thank you to Linda (Langenberg) Parnell – Class of 1969 for putting the alums in a workable spreadsheet for me.
Thank you to Harvard's past music teacher, Joyce Bartels, for helping with some of the research on older classes. She is an ancestry wizard.
We lost our lovely memorial chairperson March 26, 2019. We love, appreciate and miss you, Ruth Nelson. She was a blessing to our alumni and historical committee. These duties are now shared by her daughter, Sheila Nelson and Ruby (Bartlett) Adam, both Class of 1970. We also appreciate the ladies who worked on keeping records before Ruth: Genevieve (Frank) Farrall, Della (Turner) Keasling, Dorothy (Bishoff) Farrall, and Frances (Fishback) Brenneman. I believe Meg (LaBarr) Kruse helped Frances with some research as well. (If there were others, please let me know. Their early records have been a blessing to me while trying to research the early classes. – Ruby) We appreciate, as well, the ladies who worked so hard on Harvard's Red Book – 100 plus 2: Elaine Ling, Edna Iliff, Alice Brehm, Dorothy Farrall, Mildred England and Joanne Williamson.
