The ECOP Economic and Workforce Development Program Action Team (ECOP WD PAT) - in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA NIFA) - collaborated with the National Extension Clearinghouse for Industry and the Workforce (NECIW) National Working Group (NWG) and the Extension Foundation to develop an interactive registry of workforce development programs offered across Cooperative Extension.

August 2022 Dynamic Discussions workshop focused on “Extension’s Role in Workforce Development” led by Robert Russell. Dr. Russell shared information about both the opportunities and challenges for Extension in workforce development as well as the role of the Workforce Program Action Team and its efforts to help lead programs forward. The April 13th Workforce PAT meeting featured a presentation from the Future Opportunities for Rural Workforce and Rural Development (FORWARD) team. They discussed the curriculum, it's implementation and impacts, and how it can be used by other institutions.
