ELA was founded on a passion and vision for providing quality programming, staff development, family involvement as well as community partnerships that positively and immediately impact the lives of elementary school students. Our constantly evolving team of education professionals come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We build and deliver our programs to schools and recreation programs of all sizes. Each of our programs offers a special set of goals and is guided by determined criteria. We reference resources such as the California Department of Education, CASEL, California After School Network, National Afterschool Association which inform our program design. We work with districts to build programs that meet their LCAP priorities and expected school-wide learner outcomes.
ELA brings direct, classroom-based services such as After School Academies, school day embedded programs for unstructured times, Camps and Intersession programs, as well as specialized add on programming in a variety of disciplines throughout the year. We also provide support for school wide events such as community service projects, a variety of discipline or focused fairs, and multicultural days. We serve students through engaging, interactive, and fun activities designed to capture their imagination, play to their interests and evoke curiosity. More information on Student Engagement
Because we believe that exceptional enrichment experiences begin and end with quality program leaders, teachers and administrators, we are driven to identify, train and support others who share our vision. We offer comprehensive Expanded Learning/After School Teacher training, mentoring and professional development programs for large groups, small groups and individuals. Our symposiums, workshops or assemblies can be scheduled as a one-time event or part of a year long subscription. We also offer programs that support teachers in the general education classroom.
