CVs, Cover Letters &

Application Forms

It is always worth having an up-to-date CV at the ready that you can advertise on your LinkedIn profile (for example) or fire off to prospective employers at short notice. A CV together with a cover letter (or supporting statement) is still the most common way to apply for a job, although many graduate-level jobs require candidates to fill-in an application form, which usually asks for similar information to that found in a cover letter.

See below for some guidance and advice on how to write an effective CV and cover letter, and some tips on how to complete an application form.
