Welfare Support
If you have any welfare issues that you do not want to speak to your academic tutor about, you can contact Welfare services directly by emailing welfare.stlukes@exeter.ac.uk. The Student's Guild are also able to provide free, independent, confidential advice and support on a variety of issues.

University Chaplaincy
Alternatively if you need a confidential and non-judgemental listening ear, why not contact the Multifaith chaplaincy. They are available for students of all faiths and none. (They even offer a free lunch every Monday at St Luke's Chapel)
International Student Support

There are also English language courses available for international students and lots of on-line language resources.
If you encounter a financial issue during your degree or are struggling with the cost of living crisis, there is lots of information and support available to help you. The University, Students’ Guild, and Student’s Union all offer valuable advice and support:

Some students may choose to work-part time around their studies; you can find out about part-time jobs that might be available to you through the University here: Casual jobs | Career Zone | University of Exeter It’s important to balance any part-time work with your academic studies, so please discuss with your academic tutor if you have concerns about your work/ study balance.
7. The Green Rewards App has some tips to help environment and save money at the same time, which some students may find useful.
If you need financial support to help you with costs of IT equipment, you can read about what support might be available to you on our Success for All webpages. Grants of £400 can be made available for students in financial hardship who cannot afford to purchase appropriate IT equipment.
If you need IT equipment of a particular specification to use software as a part of your course, then this grant can be increased to up to £800. Each application for a grant to support purchase of IT equipment is means tested and assessed on an individual basis, so read the webpages and paperwork carefully before applying.
Don’t worry if you choose not to purchase a laptop – you can still use the computers on campus or the virtual desktop. Success for All | Success for All | University of Exeter
