Google has three AI tools that are available to all Google Workspace users: Gemini, Notebook LM, and Workspace Studio. There are no age restrictions on Gemini or NotebookLM. We have the free versions of these tools.
The Gemini app in Google Workspace for Education is a standalone AI chatbot that lets students and educators ask questions, get explanations, brainstorm ideas, draft or summarize text, create images, receive step-by-step help, and so much more!
Create Gems in Gemini! Create your own custom AI assistants and experts with Gemini Gems for coding, brainstorming, and more.
Gemini's tools for teachers are now built in to Google Classroom as well.
Notebook LM is Google’s powerful research and study tool that lets students and educators upload or connect materials (Docs, PDFs, website links, YouTube videos, etc.) so the AI can generate summaries, answer questions, and explain concepts directly from those sources (and ONLY the sources you upload), as well as suggest other sources you can use.
It can also create a multitude of resources based on what you have uploaded including: outlines, audio overviews (in 80 languages), narrated video overviews, mind maps, study guides, and FAQs.
With Workspace Studio you can create work flows using agentic AI powered by Gemini to streamline and manage tasks across your Google Workspace.
