Hello!

I am a former band geek (clarinet - one whole year) and a graduate of Corydon Central High School. While in high school, I was a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Club, CCHS Theatre, Dance Team, and Show Choir. I am no good at pretty much any form of sportsball and I don't pretend to be. I am married to a veteran band geek (trombone - seven years, which is some serious dedication) and fellow video game player named Adam. We reside in Corydon with our two boys, Liam and Nolan, and our beagle mix, Radar.

The 2019-2020 school year will be my tenth year as a teacher. I earned my bachelor of science in language arts secondary education from Indiana University Southeast. I spent the last seven years teaching at North Harrison High School before switching to middle school here at East Washington. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and my Google Trainer certification.
