Organic Chemistry and Beyond 

Our research is centered on organic synthesis, but we seek to exploit the properties of elements from the entire periodic table to design molecular solutions that address unsolved problems in synthetic chemistry. In particular, we apply unusual or exotic chemical species (e.g. rare structures or topologies, stabilized reactive intermediates) to the design, synthesis and processing of functional organic materials and nanomaterials.
