Spencer James is the focus of this series. He is a star football player from a bad neighborhood. A football coach offers him a place to stay and to go to school in Beverly Hills. The best highschool football team in the area.  Soencer was skeptical at leaving his family and his best friend Coop back in Crenshaw. Spencer knows he cant pass up this offer. Spencer know has to worry about his family and school. He goes through ups and downs during his highschool carrer making enemys and friends along the way.

Grace James is Spencer James mom. Grace is always helping Spencer. Grace encouraged Spencer to got to Beverly Hills and not to worry about them. Grace is a single mom who dated Billy Baker for sometime. This raised some confusion on if Spencers dad (His dad left them) is actually his real dad. Spencer and his mom have some fights Grace doesn't approve of all the things Spencer does, but Spencer and his mom are closer than everyone.

Billy Baker is the coach that recruited Spencer. Billy is also letting Spencer live with him. Billy has two kids, Olivia Baker, and Jordan Baker. Jordan is the starting quarterback for Beverly.  Billy and Spencer become really close. Especially when Spencer thinks Billy might be his dad. Billy has a wife who is a lawery. She helps Billy get out of somethings he did in his past, that he shouldnt have done.

Coop is Spencer best friend. Coop has some troubles with money. Her parents don't have much money. So in response to that she gets into trouble with gangs in Crenshaw.  Coop loves music. Coop is friends with Layla whose dad is a music producer. Coop always jumps at the chance to perform. Coop also has a girlfriend.  Coop is always there for Spencer as Spencer is always there for her.  They have a great relationship dating back to forever.

Layla is Spencers boyfriend. Layla and Spencer have some rough times here and there but they always mange to talk trough it and work it out. Laylas dad is a producer. They are very rich, but there is one problem her dad is never home. He is always out producing music in all these different countries. Laylas mom died when she was younger so she is normally alone. She loves to produce music like her dad. So she produces for Coop.

Olivia Baker is one of Billy Bakers children. Olivia and. Spencer are great friends. Spencer has helped her through a lot of tough times. Olivia has had a past with overdose. She has been sober for more than a year and is making great progress. Being a highschool kid going to party's it can be hard to stay sober as Olivia finds out. Olivia is dating Asher a star wide reciver on the Beverly football team with her brother Jordan and Spencer.

Asher is Olivias boyfriend. He plays wide receiver on Beverly Hills. Asher was jealous when Spencer came on the team, as Spencer plays wide receiver and Spencer is amazing.  Asher also used to date Layla, but Spencer kind eve stole her. Asher went on steroids at one point to get stronger and better at football, to prove that Spencer isn't better than him.  Billy Baker helped him through this tuff time. Asher and Spencer put their differences aside as it was hurting the team. Now they are great friends and help each other out.

Dillion is Spencers younger brother. Dillion was really sad when Spencer moved away to Beverly Hills. He felt like no one cared about him. Spencer then made sure that Dillion felt like he was loved. Not having a father figure around for his entire life really took a toll on Dillion. Dillion wants to be a great football player just like his big brother is. Spencer always try's to find time when he and Dillion can get some time together. Whether its playing football or getting some food. 

Jordan Baker is Billy Bakers son. He is the starting quarterback for Beverly Hills highschool. Jordan is a great football player and uses his im the starting quaterback card on girls a little to often.  Jordan has always had some girl issues. He has had many girlfriends. He got one girl pregnant. Jordan also doesnt always listen. Every descion he makes always has a good reason for why he made it normally. Jordan is always in trouble. Jordan is your normal highschool kid going to every party there is.
