Played as JJ Maybank 

The main character is a Pogue known as being loyal, brave and quickly raged. suffering his home life while being in a hard family life living with his Alcoholic father who is crucial and impulsive. 

Played as John B

John B is JJ's best friend, and is also the main character and leader of the Pogues who is dedicated, strong and hardworking. John B is a very optimistic character who is defined by being an orphan looking for his father.

Played as Sarah Cameron

Main character who begins the show as a kook and ends the show as a pogue who is dating John B and best friends with Kiara. Sarah is strong and caring as well as standing up for what she thinks is right.

Played as Kiara

Kiara is a main character who is best friends with sarah and is dating pope.  Kiara starts the show off as a kook and ends the show as a pogue. She has somewhat of a hard home life with her parents because they don't believe that being a pogue is good because they are both kooks and Kiara switched over to being a pogue. After a little while they send her to kitty hawk which is a behavioral and boarding school. 

Played as pope 

Pope is a strong dedicated loyal pogue who stands for what he believes is right and is also a very funny and serious man at times. Pope is the smart one of the pogues and gets them out of situations they shouldn't be in. In the earlier seasons Pope is focused on getting a scholarship but leaning toward the end of the seasons he gives up on his dreams of getting scholarships because he missed so much school and knows there is no way of getting back those opportunities. 

Played as Cleo

Cleo is a strong, playful but intelligent

 woman who is the protagonist in this

 show but also being a main character. 

Cleo shows up in season 2 as a crew 

member on captain Terance's ship,
