This is one of the most difficult yurchenko vaults. After the roundoff on the springboard, you do a back handspring up on to the table and then push off completing a 2.5 twisting layout. The amanar is named after Simona Amanar who was a Romanian vaulting champion.

A vault similar to an amanar, the Cheng vault is when you start with a roundoff onto the springboard, do a half twist onto the table and the Rooney off of it. A Rooney is a one and a half twisting front layout. In the Cheng, you do this after pushing off the table. This vault is named after Cheng Fei, a chinese olympic vaulting champion.
