Overview

Gilmore Girls is a 7 season drama TV show based in small town Stars Hollow, Connecticut. It is focused on Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory (Lorelai) Gilmore.  Lorelai starts off as manager at the Independence Inn but soon starts her own inn with best friend, business partner, and chef  Sookie St. James. Rory attended Chilton High school and then went to Yale University after. Chilton is an expensive private school in which Lorelai is unable to afford the tuition without the help of her parents Richard and Emily Gilmore. In return they are to attend dinner every Friday night.  Everyday after school and work Lorelai and Rory head to Luke's diner which is owned by Luke Danes. Luke is not only a diner owner but also Lorelais fiancee at the end of the show. During Rory's school years she had a few romantic relationships. Rory and her first boyfriend Dean Forester lasted for roughly two years with a brief breakup in between.  Her second boyfriend was Jess Mariano which just so happened to be Luke's nephew, she and Jess only lasted around 7-8 months. Rory's third and final boyfriend Logan Huntzberger was with her for three years.
