Sweetgreen Infinite Kitchen

The Sweetgreen Infinite Kitchen is not your average salad bar. The infinite kitchen has you order your salad bowl through a tablet if you are in person, but if you are on a time crunch, it gives you the option to order through the app. The tablet allows you to add whatever you would like to your bowl, you also have the option to add more or less of an ingredient. The tablet then sends a command to Sweetgreen and prepares your order. The Sweetgreen overall produces a larger quantity of meals compared to other salad bars. The process also starts and ends with human interaction. 

The Sweetgreen Infinite Kitchen is a very big improvement from what was done before. The Infinite Kitchen is capable of crafting up to 500 salads an hour which is 50% faster than human workers. The infinite kitchen is supplied with fresher greens than the average salad bar, this is due to the greens being stored and refreshed daily. If the machine runs out of an ingredient, the workers behind the machine have a supply of all the fresh greens that need to be refilled. The bowls are prepared and also finished off by human workers but the Infinite Kitchen is the one putting the modifications and servings together.
