Get involved, EWG! The English Department offers some great clubs to stimulate your interest and boost your real-world skills. Click on the advisor's name to contact him or her with questions.

• Debate Team (Mr. Robitaille)

Learn all about Parliamentary Debate. At this time, debate takes place exclusively during Knight Time. All students are welcome to sign up for this PLT activity.

• The Mercury (Mr. Robitaille)

The official EWG school newspaper. The Mercury, published online, features various forms of student work, including profiles, in-depth reports, reviews, commentaries, sports, podcasts, video news reports, creative writing, and more. Runs during Knight Time and after school on Tuesdays (room 203).

• The Excalibur (Mr. Robitaille)

The EWG yearbook is now under new management! Beginning in the spring 2023 semester, after-school meetings will be held weekly on Fridays in room 203. All students are welcome to come and contribute.

• National English Honor Society (Mr. Gardiner)

This prestigious club is open to all students who meet admittance criteria. Students will be invited to apply as juniors and seniors based on their academic performance in English class.
