Overview
Technology in agriculture is becoming a very popular thing in todays society, especially for the farmers. Agricultural technology proceeds to grow every year with many different products being released. It also grows by products evolving overtime. In this website, taking a closer look into technology built for agriculture is our biggest priority. First, we have the 'Connected Cow'. The 'Connected Cow' is one part of technology that has grown overtime. The 'Connected Cow' is a sensor put into the cows first stomach, or rumen, to help identify health issues before the farmers notice it and measure activity among the cow. Secondly, we have Laser Weeding, Laser Weeding are high powered lasers that target thermal energy into each weed and can eliminate 200,000 weeds per hour and can improve the soil health. Lastly, we have the First Bee Vaccination. The First Bee Vaccine takes care of a very common disease called 'foulbrood' by it being put into a royal jelly, fed to the queen bee, and proceeds to be fed to the larvae as the process continues. In conclusion, the agricultural industry consistently grows.
