Recess

There will be assigned areas of play during recess for each classroom cohort. Students will rotate through each area to allow them to play on the swings as well. The swings will be sanitized after each group uses them.

Restrictions of activities that encourage student contact will occur, such as no soccer games, no basketball games, etc.

Staffing of playground supervision will be adequate to monitor and encourage active movement and discourage social gatherings of large groups of students.

During inclement weather, students will have indoor recess, gym, auditorium, or within their own classrooms and will be encouraged to play and socialize within their own personal learning spaces.
