Arrival/Dismissal

Face covering will be required while transitioning during arrival and dismissal.

Due to the need for limiting visitors into our building, at this time parents will not be able to walk students to their classrooms. We will be ready to support you with this separation. Once details are shared at the beginning of August, we would encourage you to drive the route and practice drop off so that your child will be more comfortable with this transition on their first day of school.

Arrival

  • Students not attending extended care, may enter the building at 7:45 a.m. Due to the close proximity of others when transitioning, students will be required to have on their mask when exiting a vehicle. Students will report directly to their homeroom, unless they are purchasing breakfast. Students will be in their seats and ready to learn at 8:15 a.m. Specific details along with a video demonstrating arrival and dismissal procedures will be shared with families in early August prior to returning to school.

Dismissal

  • Mustangs will continue the safe protocols for dismissal that were previously in place with students wearing masks. Students will be expected to wear masks in transitions and anytime they are riding a bus.
