How to Dream of A New World
It takes practice to dream of a new world so we will begin Social Justice Day taking some time to do just that. To prepare for the exciting day ahead, students will take time in advisory to do a guide visualization activity and ask themselves:
What is your dream for social justice?
What is your dream for social justice?
At the end of the day, students will have another opportunity to reflect individually on the experience and how their dreams for the future may have been shaped by the day's discussions. Student will then create a visual representation of an important element of the day that will be used for a community mural made by the whole upper division!
Thank you very much to the Student Council, SJD Student Legacy Committee, Allie Osgood, and Jane Shay for creating a way to set our intentions, commitments and reflections at the start of Social Justice Day 2023.
