Dear Orchards Families,

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year - a year like no other! I hope the summer has been enjoyable for your family and you have been able to stay healthy during this unique time.

There are many details to communicate with you as we start the new school year in this new context. We want you to have all the information you need to provide the best possible start to the year for your students.

August 31st from 9 AM - 6 PM - 1st - 5th Supply Pick-up and Chromebook Checkout (if you need a new device or cord). Kindergartners will receive their supplies and device during the 1-1 meeting from Sept. 1-3.

September 1st - First Day of School! We will have an All-School Virtual Assembly from 9:00 - 9:15 AM and we hope to see you there! We will send an email with the log-in information.

Schedule: Here is a link to what the daily schedule will look like for your child each day. Hopefully, this will help you in planning your child’s day. All students will have the same daily schedule (K-5) to support families with multiple children participating in Remote learning.

Meal Distribution: Grab-n-go Breakfast and Lunch will be available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays starting September 1st. (There will be no meal delivery on days when school is close, ex. Labor Day, and on Wednesdays). Students or Parents/Guardians can pick up meals on behalf of their students. They must have the student PIN number available. Elementary schools can serve up to 3 days of meals each day during pick-up. Breakfasts are free for students enrolled at Orchards. Lunches will come out of their account balance. Please know that we are thinking about you. We know this is a challenging time for you as you prepare for what the upcoming year will look like for your family. Rest assured that we have a fantastic team here to support you. The Orchards community is the best! We will get through this together.
