October 2022 – Cub-mobile Race at Evanston Civic Center – Cub-mobiles and repair parts provided combined with Webelo cooking requirement “Cast Iron Chef”

October 2022 – Light House Beach Halloween Weekend Campfire Cooking and Bonfire – Older Scouts participate in “Beat the Bounds Hike” combined with Family Camp Kitchen leaders and older scouts teaching outdoor Cooking Skills on Open Fire, Weber Grill, and Propane Gas Cooking Stove

December 2022 – Pinewood Derby Season Kickoff with Car Design and Rough Cut Workshop

January and February 2023 – Pinewood Derby Races – Set up and Run Pack Races and Pinewood Derby Car workshops using 40 foot aluminum track, projector, and electronic timer

March 2023 – Help coordinate local participation in NEIC (North East Illinois Council) Scouting for Food collecting food donations and delivering to Evanston Food Pantries

March 2023 – “Plant and Grow” younger Cub Scout Activity and Robert Crown Center and Pope John School

April / May 2023 – Outdoor Pinewood Derby for Pack 916 at Harbert Park in Evanston, Pinewood Derby Race for Pack 904 at Dewey School
