There are different ways to contribute depending on your interests and availability. Roles include:
Chair: Strategic leadership and direction; chairing meetings and AGM; oversight of ICCI priorities and reporting; liaison with CES.
Up to 15 hours per month, two-year term, renewable up to three consecutive terms.
Vice-Chair: Operational coordination of ICCI initiatives and events; member outreach and engagement; collaboration with the Chair on Steering Committee activities.
Up to 15 hours per month, elected for a two-year term, renewable up to three consecutive terms.
Member Representatives: Planning and delivery of ICCI initiatives and events; member engagement and communications support; participation in subcommittees as needed.
One of the Member Representatives will perform the role of Treasurer and lead the fiscal stewardship and record keeping.
Up to 10 hours per month, one-year term.
We are committed to creating an inclusive experience, and access barriers will be addressed where possible. Meetings will be primarily in English, translation will be available as needed, and Francophones are welcomed.
After completing the self-nomination form your candidacy will be circulated to ICCI members and registrants. Elections will be held during the ICCI AGM on June 3, 2026. Candidates will be invited to briefly (2 minutes max) present themselves and their interest in joining the Steering Committee If you are unable to attend the AGM, please send your brief biography and statement of interest to carolyn@hedbeyond.ca to present on your behalf. Note, ICCI leaders must have current CES membership.
To recommend a colleague, please contact them directly and encourage them to apply. You are also welcome to reach out to carolyn@hedbeyond.ca who can also send an invitation to apply noting that they have been recommended. Note, recommendations do not provide a material advantage in the process as all individuals who self-nominate are listed.

ICCI is pleased to invite you to our 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Keynote Address — our flagship event of the year!
ICCI AGM & Keynote Address “Working with Indigenous Communities: Becoming a Good Relative”
Wednesday, June 3 | 12-1:30pm ET
(1) The event will begin with ICCI’s Annual General Meeting, where we will share highlights from ICCI activities and accomplishments over the past year, provide a preview of plans and priorities for the year ahead, and hold ICCI Steering Committee elections.
As a reminder, self-nominations to join the ICCI Steering Committee remain open until May 22, 2026 at 12pm ET. Serving on the Steering Committee is an opportunity to help shape ICCI’s future priorities, support and strengthen the independent consulting community nationally, and collaborate with colleagues from across Canada. Additional information about the available roles and nomination process can be found directly above. We warmly encourage all Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) members interested in contributing to ICCI’s continued growth and community-building efforts to submit a self-nomination form before the deadline.
(2) Following the AGM, we are honoured to welcome CES Fellows Larry Bremner and Linda Lee for a Keynote Address on relational, respectful, and insurgent practices for working with Indigenous organizations and communities.
