These lessons have been student reviewed and student approved! Students shared that they found the lessons very engaging. Additionally, the grade level specific lessons are very easy to implement and for the most part completely self guided by the students.
EUSD has partnered with our friends at EDPUZZLE to create this self-directed learning experience that ensures that our students learn the most important baseline information about cyber safety and digital citizenship when they need it most, at the start of the school year.
Here is how it works and what you can expect:
The best way to implement the lesson for each grade level is though whole class instruction. The classroom teacher will use the link for their grade level below and sign on using their EUSD Google Account (be careful to click on the Google Sign On button when prompted). When the teacher signs on using their EUSD Google account the record of their class completing the lesson be recorded and credit given to the class.

If you would like to try it out for yourself, we do have a teacher preview access portal you can use. However please do not use the link for the students. Do not use the below link for the classroom lesson since using the link below will not provide you credit for completing the lesson with your class, it is only for previewing.

Google Be Internet Awesome!
Google Be Internet Awesome, has FOUR different Interlands that are interactive games that students can play and upon successful completion will receive a Certificate of Success that can be handed in to the teacher and administrator. Teachers will be encouraged to only assign one Interland per year starting in Third grade.
Interland Interactive Game and Certificates
Mindful Mountain - Third Grade
Tower of Treasure - Fourth Grade
Kind Mountain - Fifth Grade
Reality River - Sixth Grade
Teachers will need to guide their students to the correct Interland and encourage them to only focus on that one Interland as to not take up too much class time and save the other lessons for the following years.
Students that successfully complete their grade level Interland and gain their certificate will be encouraged to share their success for Digital Citizenship Month in October through a classroom Flipgrid message about their success.
