Research Skills Lessons

During the district assessment block #2, students and teachers will implement Research Skills that address how our students interact with information, misinformation, and disinformation. These skills are needed more today than ever and impact every area of learning. Research Skills Lessons & Assessment should be completed by all students by January 23, 2025.

Research Skills lessons have been created specifically for each grade level. Based on a Stanford study, most of our students and often the adults, don’t have the baseline skills needed to evaluate the quality of the information they are accessing.

EUSD student surveys underscore the need for greater awareness and utilization of credible and accurate sources of information for students and teachers.

For Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Teachers:

Teacher signs on to the course and completes the lesson as a whole class.
Use your teacher Google account to sign on and launch the whole class lesson.
Timeframe: About 20 to 25 Minutes Total
