Hi Band Families,

Here is the presentation from the Parent Meeting tonight (August, 25th)....please look very closely at the schedules. The first 4 weeks of beginning band are unique. We start next week! Even if you have not procured your instruments, please still have the kids come to the first classes.

Supplies for Beginning Band:

Instrument

Standard of Excellence Book 1 for your instrument (Red cover)

Flutes: cleaning rod & swab

Clarinets: cleaning swab & reeds (start with size 1 1/2, then move up to size 2)

Trumpets: valve oil & soft cloth for cleaning

Trombones: slide oil & soft cloth for cleaning

Baritones: valve oil & soft cloth for cleaning

Tuba: valve oil & soft cloth for cleaning

Percussion: sticks (usually come with the percussion/bell kit that you rent)
