Jazz Band is Cavitt's premier instrumental music ensemble. Jazz Band is an extracurricular ensemble that meets after school, twice a week. Students must be currently enrolled in Concert or Symphonic Band to join. Auditions are generally not required, but may be called for if there is great demand for certain spots in the group.
2025-26 Rehearsal Schedule:
Mondays: 4-5pm
Wednesdays: 3-4:30pm
Note: Attendance at these rehearsals is required for Jazz Band members. Students may be asked to leave the ensemble if they exceed three unexcused absences in one trimester.
