Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects are for students to gain experience in the ag industry. Projects are worth 10% of the students' grade and they should keep their projects up to date in the Agriculture Experience Tracker (AET) - which they will learn how to do in their ag class!
Visit California FFA to figure out possible SAE projects for you! One of the most common projects at EHS is raising market animals for the fair - make sure you talk to an ag teacher and check out the links below for the contracts!
There are 4 categories of which an SAE category can fall under:
Entrepreneurship
Exploratory
Placement
Research / Experimentation
In our chapter, we encourage students to follow whichever SAE best fits them. Every year, we have over 40 students raise, show, and sell animals at the Humboldt County Fair in August.
