Pick an area of interest to you where you can use data to make predictions. Using that data, create a regression. Use a regression model to predict the outcome of your data in the future (eg. 50 years). Use whatever time span is relevant to the topic you are researching. Include the data and graph you used on to your website.

1) Explain what a regression model is.

2) What does your model inform you about the future? List specific data points and explain what they mean. How will this information be of concern to you? Justify with mathematical reasoning.

3) How accurate was your regression model? Explain how you can calculate its accuracy to compare it to other regression models. Justify that the regression model you picked was the best one. Be as detailed as possible.

4) Referring to your data points and your regression curve, conceptually explain how the the R value is found. What does it tell you about the points and your regression curve if there is a lower R value?

1) What would you grade yourself what math evidence or reasoning justifies that grade?

2) What big ideas did you learn from this project/unit?

3) What struggles did you encounter while working on this project, and how did you overcome those challenges?
