Schedule a PIP Consultation
During this meeting, we will look at your situation, get you past any common sticking points, solve any easy problems, and optionally see if you feel you'd like Thomas's further help as you create your Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
We'll spend 20 minutes on your situation and five minutes on whether we should do anything further together.
You are not under any obligation -- these meetings serve a very valuable function of keeping us up to date on the latest happenings in the world of PIPs.
You will get maximum value if you prepare for this meeting by drafting your answers to these questions:
Who is this PIP for?
Do you have an up-to-date job description for that role?
How is performance in this role defined and measured?
What's the minimum acceptable performance level?
It's very common to NOT have answers to all of these -- that's perfectly fine. Get as far as you can on your own before we meet, and we'll see whether Thomas can help you take it further.
(It's helpful to send your draft answers to Thomas in advance of the meeting, but it's not mandatory -- just schedule the meeting, then email your draft to the email address shown in the event on your calendar.)
