William R. Miller

William R."Bill" Miller,  was born and raised in the small farming community of Morocco, Indiana.   After high school attended classes at the Indian College of Mortuary Science and is a graduate of Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta.  Bill currently is the Licensed Funeral Director In Charge with Mohn Funeral Home and Creation services in Seminole.

Bill is / was:

• The former Board Chairman & President of Gandy Fire Control District in St. Petersburg.

• Honorary fire chief for the Pinellas - Suncoast Fire District.

• A member of the Seminole United Methodist Church

• President of the historic Seminole Cemetery,

• A twenty-six-year member of the Kiwanis Club of Seminole

• A five-year member of the Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast Club

• A member of the Pi Sigma Eta National Morticians Fraternity

• The Seminole Chamber of Commerce

• A member of PIN-MAR Antique Auto Club of Pinellas County.

• A member of the Kiwanis Horses and Handicapped riding facility

• And active with the All Children’s Hospital fundraising, 

Bill was also awarded the 2017 Mr. Seminole Award for his hard work in the community.
