2020 - Sandra Jean Lilo
Dr. Sandra Lilo was born and raised in Chicago, IL and graduated from Northwestern Dental School. She has written and lectured internationally on both health care topics and humanitarian service. Dr. Lilo is a dentist licensed in three states including Florida and holds board certified doctorates of Naturopathic Medicine and Integrative Medicine and Dentistry. She is a Dental Board Examiner and travels to help assist new dentists get licensed to practice dentistry.
Also, Dr. Lilo has been honored and serves her profession by working on the Florida Dental Association Foundation Board of Directors, tasked with humanitarian dental efforts in the state of Florida. She has been recognized by her peers by nomination and acceptance into the prestigious American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists and she has received the ADA Humanitarian Award.
Dr. Lilo is a USAF Veteran Captain having served on Guam and at MacDill AFB in Tampa.
Sandra is a Rotarian of Seminole Lake Rotary, two-time Past President, and Past Assistant District Governor 2001-2003. She is recipient of RI “Service Above Self” award, a Major Donor and a Bequest Arch Klumph Society member. Dr. Lilo has been named Rotarian of the Year by her Club four times and by the District in 2020. She has received the inaugural Herbert G. and Diane Brown Humanitarian Award. Her recent work has partnered with Abaco Bahamas and Long Bay School which was partially destroyed by Category 5 Hurricane Dorian. Sandra continues to work both in her community and worldwide for Rotary interests.
In 2021, Dr. Lilo received the prestigious “Ms. Seminole” recognition acknowledging her decades of service to the Seminole community.
In her spare time, she is also the Director of Rotocleft and World Service Alliance (both are part of the SLR Foundation) and current District 6950 International Service Chair and has personally contributed extensively to service efforts both in her community and the US as well has ten countries internationally. She is an avid reader and traveler and often hosts fellowship events for her neighbors and friends.
