1967 - Percy V. Templeton
Percy V. Templeton once said that he originally moved to Seminole “to retire, but he hasn’t “retired yet” due to the large number of activities he found in his new life as a member of the Seminole community.
Percy Templeton was one of Seminole’s first nine city councilmen in 1970. A retired Navy lieutenant, he divided his time among many veteran, civic and Masonic organizations. As a Seminole community resident he was active with the Bay Ridge Civic Association and the Greater Seminole Community Council, where he was president of both organizations.
Percy Templeton was married to his wife, Elizabeth and had two daughters, one son and a large group of grandchildren.
