2019 - Michael T. McQuilkin
Michael McQuilkin grew up in South West Largo near the border of Seminole. There were lots of wooded areas, cow pastures, and orange groves at that time. These areas were quickly developed as he grew up where he graduated from Largo High School and the University of South Florida with a BS in Finance.
Michael’s first career was in banking as an analyst for First State Bank of the Florida Keys. In 2002 I moved back to Seminole taking a job with a bank that is no longer in the community. In 2004 he joined his family's business and he became the administrator of Wright's Healthcare
Michael is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Seminole where he sits on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. In 2008 he was elected to the Board of Directors for the Greater Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce and served as president in 2011. Due to a vacancy on the board, Michael was asked to fill a seat on the board and was subsequently approved and appointed.
Michael has felt blessed to have a business in Seminole community and has felt it his duty to give back to the community that has given him so much.
While not a golfer, Mike always manages to find a foursome to play in the annual golf tournaments of the Rotary Club and the Chamber.
Wrights and Oak Manor actively supports the Seminole community via sponsorship, direct giving, or in kind giving. Wright's and Oak Manor support youth sports in the area, civic clubs, school sports, and other activities.
