Dardon Nabar "Darby" Boling
Dardon Nabar (Darby) Boling, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, lived a life of dedication to his loving family, his commitment to volunteering, and his leadership role in youth sports.
Darby's athleticism, character, and leadership skills defined him as an outstanding player and teammate on both the St. Pete Green Devils' football and baseball teams. Once scouted by Major League Baseball teams as a star high school player, Darby's passion for sports filled his life and the lives of his family.
Upon entering college at the University of Florida, Darby played Jr. Varsity football, after which Darby and his wife, Rita became lifelong Gator fans, supporters, and sponsors.
Darby was President of Seminole Little League Baseball and coached other youth sports while donating time and resources to building Seminole Little League Baseball fields. His tireless volunteer work for the city eventually earned him the honor of being named Mr. Seminole. In his later years, Darby enjoyed golfing and supporting the Gators, and became an ardent fan of the Tampa Bay Rays.
