Born in Guernsey in Britain’s Channel Islands, Mr. Guillaume came to Treasure Island in 1954 from Antioch, IL. He owned and operated the Ebb Times Motel on Treasure Island.

While president of the Chamber of Commerce Mr. Guillaume spearheaded efforts to approve the bridge linking 78th Ave with Indian Shores and was involved with the relocation of the John’s Pass Bridge.
During the 1976 Bicentennial Celebration Bernie Guillaume was involved in a 6-month beard-growing contest, as well as staging a re-enactment of the Boston Tea Party on Lake Seminole.
