Greed and Fire

by Peyton DeWitt

  • Greed will start with a little flicker
  • Then it will spark bigger and bigger,
  • Swallowing everything in its path,
  • It spares nothing,

  • It becomes harder to put out the larger it burns
  • But if caught early, it can be extinguished
  • Greed will change a person
  • it only requires Kindinling.”

Drowning in Greed

by Wyatt Mullens

Greed takes the shape of whatever he’s put in

He flows about looking for his next victim

He drips and drops in on every conversation

He can take over the mind and all communication

Greed is a slick fellow entering your heart with consent

And then he tries to run the show

He finds his way into every household

Greed might look strong but he is nothing more than a puddle of water
