William Simos has been a visual arts teacher at Evanston Township High School since 2014. Before ETHS, he taught K-8 visual art for three years in Chicago Public Schools at an elementary school in the Austin neighborhood. His enthusiasm for teaching is matched only by his passion for all things related to the worlds of 2D and 3D design. His undergraduate studies took place at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design from the School of Art and Architecture. Upon graduation, Mr. Simos entered a post-baccalaureate teacher certification program at Northeastern Illinois University and recently earned his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University. He lives on the northwest side of Chicago with his wife, two daughters, a black cat, too many guitars, a Boba Fett collection, and an obscene amount of compact discs and vinyl records.
