Portfolio 

I have been writing with the Evanstonian (specifically news) since my freshman year, but this year I believe I have found more of a journalistic style or voice. I enjoy writing and look forward to creating more in the future! This section Includes pieces I wrote both my Sophomore and Junior year for context on how my writing has grown over time. 

Layout is something I have been interested in helping with since I took graphic design my sophomore year. This year I have been able to start helping more with page layout, and have found it to be something I really  enjoy doing. Being able to bring my vision to life has been a great experience for me, and I look forward to continuing to learn more about the software and new ways to control the look of the page. 

I am new to taking my own photos for stories, but it is something I enjoy doing. I am able to execute my vision and have fun while doing so. Photography has always been something I was interested in, and I am grateful for this opportunity to fine-tune my skills. All photos taken were taken as of my Junior year, seeing that I am newer to the photography side of print media.
