Introductory and AP Computer Science courses at ETHS give students foundational knowledge of how to think algorithmically like computers, which involves breaking larger problems down into smaller ones to better understand and make them more solvable.
These classes prepare students for other CS classes offered, such as Information Technology Internship, Web Design, Game Design, and Cybersecurity! The problem-solving and logical / critical thinking skills gained carry over into other subjects and life skills students learn and do. CS & IT is becoming a more competitive field, and taking CS courses sooner is an advantageous decision!
