Keynote Speaker Bio:
Ms. Shaesta Waiz became the youngest woman to fly solo around the world in a single- engine in 2017. The global flight was launched through her non-profit, Dreams Soar, which aims to inspire the next generation of STEM and aviation professionals. Through her non-profit, Shaesta has participated in over 60 international and national outreach events and has reached over 12,000 children. In 2019, Dreams Soar awarded their first flight scholarship to a young woman pilot studying at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the alma matter of Shaesta.
