What's in a kit?
The contents of our toiletry kits vary from month to month as community needs change (for example, we packed handwarmers in the colder months December and January), but most items remain consistent:

We restock each of the three Evanston Community Fridges on a monthly basis:

Community connection
To best serve Evanston residents and provide them with the toiletries they need, we include a QR code in every kit that links to a short survey to find out which toiletries are more or less in demand. We accommodate any community requests we can, adding menstrual products, for example, to our kits after receiving requests through our survey.
Additionally, our kits have consistnetly been gone within 24 hours of a monthly restock, indicating how high the demand for these products is in the community as a whole.
