Learn it, then go do it
Most of what's worth knowing about growing food in this region lives in someone's head, on someone's property, learned the hard way over twenty or fifty years. Our events program exists to move that knowledge around — and to get it moving in both directions between generations.
What's on offer
Skill shares. Practical, hands-on, member-led. Grafting, seed saving, compost, water systems, fermentation, natural building. Whatever the network wants to learn and someone knows how to teach.
Climate-smart agriculture workshops. Soil health monitoring, land-use transition and documented regenerative practice on working properties. Held at the EcoHub and at member sites across the region.
Working bees and planting days. Many hands, one paddock, a shared lunch.
Grower connection sessions. The unglamorous, essential work of people in the same industry actually meeting each other.
Equipment demonstrations. See the gear, learn the safety protocols, get inducted.
