Refund Options

There are several options that you can choose from to receive your refund from the IRS. You can receive a paper check directly mailed to you. You can also request your refund to be sent to your existing account by direct deposit. You will need to have your routing and account numbers handy for this option. Both paper check and direct deposit from the IRS are free of additional processing charges.

Another option is a refund transfer. A refund transfer is a safe and efficient option to receive your refund. You can choose a Netspend® Visa® Prepaid Card, printed check, or direct deposit for this option. The transfers are processed through Republic Bank. With this option, there is no need to worry about paying the tax preparation fee on the day you file. Your fee is paid when your refund is issued. (*additional fees apply, see details below)
