Like most of you, I’ve been a guest, bridesmaid, and family member at many weddings over the years. It’s an honor every time I can share in the celebration as family members and childhood friends tie the knot with their special someone.
No matter my role at a wedding, one thing always stuck out to me - the brides who worked with a dedicated wedding coordinator always seemed so much happier on the big day.
That observation blossomed into a passion after I married my husband, Wheeler, in 2021. Our wedding was the happiest day of my life, and our wedding coordinator was a big reason why. Watching her handle the inevitable problems while Wheeler and I focused on celebrating with the people we love was incredible. And it also inspired me to be the same blessing for other brides.
Since that day, I’ve coordinated many weddings, doing my absolute best to make each and every one the best experience possible for everyone involved. And when Wheeler and I were blessed with a daughter, Stevie, in July of 2024, I knew it was the right time to turn this passion into a full-time pursuit.
Eternal Events is named in remembrance of my late father who modeled his life after his love for Christ and His word. He cared deeply for his family and had a passion for serving others.
His favorite scripture can be found in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18:
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
