Rosana Fabris

Rosana Fabris worked for four years as a first-grade teacher and due to the money she could save from this job, she studied Information Systems at Champagnat University. At the moment, she works as Director of Engineering Department at Eventbrite which has its headquarters in San Francisco, United States. This company also holds offices in Argentina, Spain, among others. She tells us that she was able to reach this position in this company thanks to her knowledge of the English language. She recommends studying languages because they are an essential tool today.

Rosana Fabris said that we have to study something that we are really passionate about. It is very important to reflect on and understand what we like and commit to it. She asks us, as women, to push ourselves to break schemata and paradigms, which requires a lot of courage and tools to reach our goal. She also told us that technology allowed her to discover that she could really contribute something to society. Also, what her strengths were and what was the best path she could find within this company. She recommends opening up and entering the world of technology.
