What is SVCTE?
CTE prepares students for a wide range of high-skill, high-demand careers. Through the hands-on integration of rigorous and relevant industry-approved curriculum, students learn real-world application of skills that prepare them for college and careers.
Students will:
Demonstrate technical skills for college and career readiness.
Demonstrate leadership skills, including teamwork & a strong work ethic.
Solve problems using effective communication, critical thinking, & evidence-based decision making.
Integrate academic skills through applied learning experiences.

CTE courses take the place of your elective courses. You take your core classes of English, Math, Science, and History and round out the rest with a CTE course.
