James Lick Garden

About Us

Welcome to the James Lick High School Garden website! There are numerous benefits to spending time outside, especially for teens. Studies have shown that time in nature can help improve mental health and concentration and reduce stress and fatigue. It can also be a great way to get some physical activity and soak up some vitamin D.

We invite all students to join the garden club after school on Wednesdays. Whether you are interested in helping to maintain the garden, learning about gardening and plant care, or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings, there is something for everyone. We hope to see you there!

All staff is welcome to use the garden space with their students. Follow the links below to find our history, what we are growing, and so much more!
