Meet the New Staff

Cole Stark

Cole began working for Educational Service Unit No 5 in August of 2018. As an Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), he is trained in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and behavioral disorders. He enjoy working with children and adolescents as well as their parents and this has been where the majority of his experience has come from. He uses a variety of techniques in working with this population, but tends to focus on solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical behavior techniques. Cole received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and his Master of Arts in Counseling from Doane College.

Fun Fact About Cole: He can't sit still. He's constantly has several projects going at once. One of his newer hobbies is photography and he has a website where he posts his latest shots (www.colestark.smugmug.com).

Jamie Mapp

Jamie began working for Educational Service Unit No 5 in August of 2018. She works with students, school staff, families and when needed community members to help kids achieve an optimal well-being: realize their potential, cope with life stress, be productive, and contribute positively to their communities. Direct and indirect service delivery for youth include: Individual therapy; group therapy; family therapy in select crisis cases; training for school personnel; presentations for student body; on-site collaboration with school personnel and outside agencies. Jamie received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Education from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. I also earned my Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Nebraska - Kearney.

Things Jamie Loves: being outdoors, getting on the bike path and heading to the zoo or parks, hanging out at her parents or sister and brother in laws houses, fire-pits, farmers markets, visiting her younger sister and her family in Seattle, Colorado, coffee, reading books that don't make her think too much, and sushi dates.

Jessica Kochheiser

Jessica has been working for Educational Service Unit 5 since August 2018. As an COTA/L she will be working with individuals birth to 21 years of age. She will assist in helping individuals be successful in school/ life from working on skills such as visual motor, fine motor, visual perceptual, sensory integration skills and handwriting. Jessica wants these individuals to be successful in everything they want to participate in. Jessica graduated from CCC in Grand Island in May 2018 with an Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Something New: Jessica is excited to start finding new hobbies and anything to keep her busy when kids' activities are not.
