BEATRICE PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Mr. Jason Alexander is in his first year as Superintendent with Beatrice Public Schools.
Mr. Alexander was the Superintendent of the Class C-2, 650 student Ord Public School system in central Nebraska the past seven years and elementary principal with Ord the two years prior. Mr. Alexander began his administrative career as the Elementary Administrator at Burwell Elementary, in Burwell Nebraska for six years from 2003-2009, and was a 6th Grade Teacher and Coach in small town Sargent, Nebraska for ten years prior to making the move to Administration.
His resume includes aiding in the resources and staff development processes necessary to raise Ord’s Nebraska State Assessment scores above state averages in every subject while at Ord. Alexander was a key figure and final project coordinator of a 29,000 sq. foot, $9.8 million bond issue for Ord Jr. Sr. High School.
Coordinating and financing 1:1 computing and software devices for students and staff, initiating the development of Reading + Program, utilization of MAP Testing, and implementing action steps to turnaround a near deficit cash flow balance to 4 months of reserve are all accomplishments on his resume’.
Mr. Alexander has served on NSAA (Nebraska School Activities Association) Committees, NRCSA (Nebraska Rural Education Association) Executive Committee Meetings, and local Economic Development are all state, local, or regional activities Mr. Alexander has practiced servant leadership in.

FAIRBURY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Ms. Roesler is in her first year as Principal at Jefferson Intermediate School in Fairbury Public Schools.
Ms. Roesler initially began teaching in education in 2007 by serving as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Bruning-Davenport USD, Deshler Public Schools and Fairbury Public Schools; she also provided early intervention at Meridian Public Schools. In 2014, she became a full time SLP at Fairbury Public Schools.
Ms. Roesler graduated from Doane College in 2016 with a Masters in Educational Leadership and began covering administrative duties for Mr. Christiansen when he was away from the building/district. She is a member on the district's school improvement steering team. She has served on the Planning Region Leadership Team and the Southeast Nebraska Regional Autism Team. Ms. Roesler has always been interested in working with students with special needs and working with adults.
During her free-time, she enjoys traveling, watching sports and spending time with friends and family. Every summer, she spends a few weeks in Indiana visiting family.
Ms. Roesler is very excited to be part of the Fairbury Public Schools administrative team and lead Jefferson Intermediate School.
FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW
For the past 8 years, when visiting Indiana, they go catch a baseball game in Cincinnati to watch her favorite team, the Cincinnati Reds. At her first game she caught a homerun ball hit by Joey Votto and was on ESPN’s SportsCenter that night.
