Follow the Steps Below to Compose Your Own Remote Learning Plans

Step #1: Access Resources to Learn More About the Components of an Effective Remote Learning Plan

Step #2: Outline Your Own Remote Lesson Plan Using Our Lesson Planning Template

In planning for remote learning, we recommend addressing one specific learning objective at a time.

These manageable student learning plans include the following activities: Instruction, Process, Practice, & Product. For more on these components, return to the resources in Step #1.

Activities can be online, offline or a combination - potentially providing choice.

Below are two more Weekly Plan Templates and a Unit Plan Template for RL Educational Opportunities.

Both Weekly Plan Templates are teacher planning guides and also student/parent facing documents that communicate the Weekly Plan.

Unit Plans involve tying multiple Weekly Lessons together cohesively. Planning involves identifying multiple Learning Objectives, developing Weekly Tasks around each Objective, and creating a plan for Assessing student learning.

Step #3: Determine How You Will Communicate the Plan with Your Students and Their Parents

While many schools utilize an LMS, communicating the various components of a single-plan can be challenging. That's why we created our Remote Learning Plan "One-Pagers."

Below is an interactive table with examples of that Remote Learning Plan One-Pager. These examples were created by Nebraska educators, and you can create your own in Step #4.

Step #4: Create Your Own One-Pager Communication Tool in Our Remote Learning Plan Auto-Generator

Below is the Remote Learning Plan Auto-Generator that our Nebraska educators used to create the Remote Learning Plans featured in Step #3.
